Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti mentioned, COVID-19 vaccination locations are still temporary because it depends on number of vaccines allocated by Health Ministry.

"It depends on vaccine stocks, if there are more stocks, we can add more health facilities for vaccination locations. But for now, Jakarta get 6,000 vaccines for elderly," he mentioned, Tuesday (2/23).

She explained, not all elderly can get COVID-19 vaccination. Before receiving vaccines, their health must be checked.

Moreover, elderly who will be vaccinated must be in good health (not having cough/cold/fever/shortness of breath) in the last seven days. Besides, COVID-19 survivors can participate but they must be declared cured more than 3 months ago, and not currently suffering from heart disease/liver disease/chronic kidney disease/undergoing dialysis procedures.

"They are also not in the process of treating cancer, blood clotting disorders, treating immune deficiency, being transfused, having condition or history of epilepsy, diabetes mellitus, HIV, lung disease (asthma, COPD), and haven't received other vaccines less than a month," she explained.
